UC Computing Services Conference Transportation

The UCCSC is being held at the Parnassus Campus, at and around 500 Parnassus Avenue, San Francisco, CA.

Hotel Shuttles

There will be a 30 person shuttle which will run in the morning and afternoon on Monday and Tuesday.  Note: this shuttle is not wheel-chair accessible.  If you use a wheelchair, please contact Alvin Ozawa for alternate arrangements.

* Pick up and Drop off for the Parnassus Campus is in front of the Library at 530 Parnassus Avenue.

Public Transportation

The conference is accessible via Muni streetcar line N-Judah, which stops at Second Avenue and Irving Street, and the following Muni bus lines, which stop in front of the UCSF Medical Center hospital:

There will be an usher at the campus stop on the N-Judah line to help guide you to the conference.

Travel by Car

From the North Bay

  • Take US-101 S across the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Take the 19th Ave. exit 1/4-mile after toll plaza. This exit drops you on Park Presidio Dr.
  • Stay in the right lane as you pass through Golden Gate Park onto 19th Ave.
  • When you exit the park, cross Lincoln, go three blocks and turn right on Kirkham.
  • Turn right on 20th Ave.
  • Turn right (east) on Judah.
  • Follow Judah up the hill to UCSF. Judah becomes Parnassus at 5th Ave. The entrance to the public parking garage is on the left.

From the South Bay / Peninsula
From SFO / Taking US-101 N toward San Francisco:

  • Follow the signs for 101 North/Golden Gate Bridge.
  • Take the Octavia St. exit
  • Follow Octavia Street four blocks and turn left on Fell St.
  • Continue on Fell into Golden Gate Park. Stay in the left hand lane. The street changes name to Lincoln Boulevard as it curves left through the park.
  • Turn left onto 4th Ave. and take a left onto Parnassus. The entrance to the public parking garage is on the left.

Taking I-280 N toward San Francisco:

  • Take the Golden Gate Bridge exit onto 19th Ave. (north)
  • Stay in the right lanes and turn right (east) on Judah St.
  • Follow Judah up the hill to UCSF. Judah becomes Parnassus at 5th Ave. The entrance to the public parking garage is on the left.

From the East Bay

  • Take the I-80 W/I-580 E ramp to San Francisco
  • Take the 101 N/Golden Gate Bridge exit, which is after the “Ninth St./Civic Center” exit
  • Follow the signs for the Octavia St. exit.
  • Follow Octavia Street four blocks and turn left on Fell St.
  • Continue on Fell into Golden Gate Park. Stay in the left hand lane. The street changes to Lincoln Blvd. as it curves left through the park.
  • Turn left onto 4th Ave. and take a left onto Parnassus. The entrance to the public parking garage is on the left.
